“The Art of the Competition: Being Ready to Win”
Competitions are everywhere these days! In this engaging talk, Dr. Mack shares how he prepares his students for success in competitions and what strategies give them the best chance to win. He discusses repertoire choices—what to select and what to avoid—timelines for preparation, student suitability, performance attire, and psychological readiness. Dr. Mack also explains why he finds competitions to be an incredibly valuable and motivating part of his teaching.
